NavVis IndoorViewer 2.7 adds annotations and auditing to aid virtual planning and collaboration
Information from NavVis
NavVis IndoorViewer 2.7 introduces new features to its measurement and point of interest tools, and is also now available as a cloud-based software-as-a-service solution. The software turns laser scan data into basic building models displayed as 360° realistic digital buildings, point clouds and customisable floorplans.
New features to the measurement tool include the ability to annotate measurements and export and share them as PDF documents. Exported information is displayed as a detailed PDF document that includes the exact location, an image, and a deep link that enables team members to click and review the measurements using their own software. The point of interest tool has been updated to allow a detailed audit of all of the content that has been added and changed.
The software has also been made available as a cloud-based software-as-a-service solution, called NavVis Cloud, and can be set up on-demand without the need for added IT infrastructure and maintenance.
