The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) and Esri have announced the 2020 Map Competition on the impact of land use on local communities. These impacts can be in relation to agriculture, ecosystems, water resources, weather and climate, hazards, invasive species, marine and coastal live, conservation, biodiversity.

Interested parties are invited to submit an original web map that addresses any of the challenges or unique visualises existing data about the impacts of land use on local communities. The submission deadline is 8 January 2021,...
