AIR Centre’s Networking Friday with GEO Blue Planet

The Atlantic International Research (AIR) Centre will be hosting GEO Blue Planet in its Networking Friday series. GEO Blue Planet’s Emily Smail and Audrey Hasson will introduce the GEO Blue Planet initiative and showcase on-going success stories from four thematic working groups.

GEO Blue Planet is the ocean and coastal arm of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO). GEO is a partnership of more than 100 national governments and more than 100 organisations that envisions a future where decisions and actions for the benefit of humankind are informed by coordinated, comprehensive and sustained Earth observations. The AIR Centre is an international collaborative framework to address global challenges and local priorities in the Atlantic Ocean, supported by emerging technological innovations and advances in data science.
