Esri is hosting its Health and Human Services GIS Conference in a virtual format. The conference is an opportunity for professionals to explore how spatial data and geographic information system (GIS) technology can underscore coverage gaps in the populations they hope to reach, opportunities to improve workflows, and the ability to plan and mitigate against unforeseen events.
The conference will consist of panel discussions, lightning talks, and other presentations. Attendees will also learn how the health community used GIS in Covid-19 responses to optimise facilities, model the spread, perform site selection for testing and vaccine locations, respond to questions of equity in delivering services, keep the public informed, and inform decision-makers on the allocation of resources.
