The Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Summit 2021 (#HOTSummit) brings together the open #humanitarianmapping community. This year’s event will explore the evolution of local humanitarian mapping ecosystems. The event will showcase projects, discuss and share ideas, and offer the humanitarian mapping community insights into collaboration and contribution. It will be held on the virtual event platform, Hopin, across three time zones.
The summit is aimed at any humanitarian and development professional, community builder, educator, geographer, journalist, philanthropist, software developer, volunteer mapper, or anyone else who wants to learn more about open data and OpenStreetMap and its applications in development and disaster interventions.
There are two ticket options: Plus and Free tickets, both of which provide the same access to all conference events. The Plus paid registration comes with a personal swag pack which includes a Summit 2021 sticker, branded dye dipped tote bag and branded polarized wooden sunglasses. A portion of the ticket cost will fund future summits, provide future scholarships, and contribute to regional events
Free registration will open 15 October 2021.
