The Institute of Mine Surveyors of Southern Africa’s Robin Kock will be hosting Claus Jendrissek for a presentation on mining at sea. Jendrissek will provide background to mining of marine diamonds off the southern Namibian coasts with a focus on survey activities. He will explain the source and emplacement of diamonds before focusing on the survey set-up regarding boundaries, the geodetic reference and hydrographic survey.
