The IEEE Educational Activities Board and the IEEE Education Society present this panel discussion titled “The Next Opportunity For Engineering Education: Redefining the Model”. This panel, featuring an array of experts in the field, will provide faculty members (practitioners) with tips and guidance they can put into action immediately. Attendees will gain insights on how remote learning has changed pedagogical practices and what that means for in-person instruction. Faculty members will also get guidance on what steps should be taken to ease students back into in-person learning, actions to help them reconnect and improve interactions with students, and tips to help them maximise their effectiveness in the education environment. The panel of experts will also discuss what they have learned about remote learning and how it can be used to redefine the engineering education model.
