Space and Africa: Developments and Cooperation

The George Washington Space Policy Institute is hosting this panel to foster a discussion on the recent and planned developments of space technology and policy on the African continent. It hopes to also discuss possible cooperation on future or current space efforts, and talk about ways the US can leverage space diplomacy to improve relationships on the continent. The panellists will be Timiebi Aganaba (Assistant professor at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society), Judd Devermont (director of CSIS Africa Program), Mike Gold (VP for Civil Space and External Affairs at Redwire Space), and Valanathan Munsami (CEO of the South African National Space Agency).
