This online course looks at strengthening geospatial information management through the use of the UN’s Integrated Geospatial Information Framework.
The Integrated Geospatial Information Framework is the United Nations endorsed Framework that was developed in collaboration between the United Nations and the World Bank to provide a basis and guide for countries to reference when developing and strengthening their national and sub-national arrangements in geospatial information management and related information infrastructures.
This virtual blended knowledge exchange is hosted by the World Bank Group’s Open Learning Campus (OLC), and is aimed at leaders, policy makers and managers of organisations that produce, manage, share and use geospatial information.
The OLC accelerates development solutions by transforming global knowledge into actionable learning. By providing learning opportunities where diverse audiences can learn at their own pace and access the knowledge they need, the OLC equips individuals with the knowledge and capabilities to tackle development challenges.
